Very excited to share that I’ve been selected as part of the artist cohort for Factory International's Intro to Virtual Tools – a 2-day artist development programme. I can’t wait to meet my fellow artists and explore SODA together (Manchester’s new School of Digital Arts).
I’m already lucky enough to work with a lot of emergent technologies in the projects I work on. But I’m excited to see how artists are stretching the limits of such tech as part of their practice to develop new artistic modes. Especially when it comes to storytelling.
The programme runs over two days and will feature workshops from the likes of: Team Rolfes, Khadija Raza, GLOR1a and Keiken. I’m especially excited to hear The Royal Shakespeare Company talk about their work combining game worlds/engines with live performance.
