this place [of mine] is an online virtual world of digital art, creativity and ideas for the future.

Produced by FutureEverything, this place [of mine] is an ambitious digital arts programme for Greater Manchester, including: a Young Producers scheme, a series of digital art commissions and an interactive virtual experience created with Studio Treble.

In my role as Creative Associate, I co-designed and co-delivered the whole creative programme with fellow Creative Associate, artist Vicky Clarke. This hands-on creative role included: designing and delivering the young producers programme, creative workshop design and facilitation, making creative tutorials and learning resources, building and managing a Discord community, curating and supporting five new digital art commissions (by David McFarlane, Jacob Bolton, Joe Whitmore, James Medd and Izzy Bolt), strategic art direction and digital producing for the website experience, content curation and management, website copywriting and 3D model making with Blender.

I also worked with Vicky to create innovative research methods, like a character-driven chatbot and a Citizen Researcher Toolkit for art-led reflection and documentation on the high street. Not to mention a lot of innovative thinking and quick creative response to move the programme online during the pandemic.

You can find out more about the project on FutureEverything's website, or experience this place [of mine] for yourself here.
