The Together Trust at 150

The Together Trust is one of the North West’s leading disability charities, providing life-changing care and support for thousands of children and young people each year. In 2020, the Together Trust celebrated their 150th year by launching a new brand and website. As part of this project, the Trust’s comms team commissioned me to help develop the website content and write copy for 50+ key pages.

 

Due to the complexity of the Together Trust’s offer and services, I conducted interviews with a number of teams and department heads to really get under the skin of their key messages and understand each of their unique audiences. I then worked with the comms team to devise user-friendly page templates and help shape the content design across the website, before going on to write copy for the website launch.

 

The social care landscape can be incredibly complex and frustrating to navigate. So, it was crucial to make sure the content feels clear, straightforward and accessible to everyone the Together Trust supports across their different services. After creating the web content, the Together Trust also commissioned me to write scripts for three short animations telling the stories of the work they do and the people they support.
