Event: Creativity & AI in Publishing

Join me later this month for Creativity & AI: Publishing – a special event hosted by the University of Manchester as part of CreaTech 2025.

I'm excited to join a brilliant panel of speakers to chat about how the rapid expansion of AI is impacting and changing the publishing industry. As well as what (if any) opportunities we see emerging for our own work, and what we think the challenges might be. I have... thoughts!

The event is chaired by Dr Sofia Izquierdo Sanchez, Senior Lecturer in Economics. And the panel is myself, Joey Connolly (award-winning Poet and Director of Faber Academy), Simon Ross (Chief Exec of Manchester University Press) and Neil Sprunt (Teaching & Learning Services and Copyright Manager at the University of Manchester Library).
